The 215 is a slim dual arc ignition module built for battery-powered ignition devices with limited internal space. With a slim 11 × 7.9 × 30 mm body and a 3.7V DC input, it delivers roughly 8kV output and an ignition distance of about 6mm. Typical applications include dual arc lighters, gas stoves, cartridge stove igniters and other small electronic ignition devices.

Why the Narrow Profile Matters

Most dual arc Ignition Module are built wide, and that works fine inside standard lighter housings. It becomes a problem in slim products such as pen-shaped arc ignition devices, where there is no room for a wide component.

The 215’s long, narrow construction lets you place the high-voltage section along the housing instead of fighting its width. Product designers generally get more freedom with the PCB layout, battery compartment and electrode arrangement.

Part of a 3.7V Battery-Powered Ignition System

The standard 215 runs on a 3.7V DC input. It is not a standalone power supply: it needs a control PCB to generate the high-frequency drive signal, plus a battery. A typical setup looks like this:
