Plasma Arc Ignition Transformer Feature
Our product is an arc high-voltage pack. This plasma arc ignition transformer features a compact size with dimensions of 9.5*15.5*8mm.It is suitable for arc lighters and electronic igniters.
Input voltage: 3.7 V; output voltage: approximately 7.5 kV (customizable according to customer requirements). Driven by a high-frequency switching circuit, it generates an electric arc between the two electrodes. This is a standalone high-voltage transformer component. It is neither a finished arc lighter nor a complete ignition module. To achieve ignition function, it needs to be used together with a battery and circuit board. We also supply finished arc lighters and complete ignition modules. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested.

Plasma Arc Ignition Transformer Working Principle
It operates on high-frequency electromagnetic conversion.
Low-voltage DC power feeds into the primary winding via a high-frequency oscillation or switching circuit. The switching circuit produces rapidly-changing magnetic flux inside the ferrite core.
Energy transfers from the primary winding to the high-voltage secondary winding to build up high output voltage. Once the output voltage exceeds the breakdown threshold of the electrode gap, air ionizes and a stable electric arc forms. This transformer serves as the core high-voltage generating part for miniaturized electronic ignition systems.

FAQ:
Q: What is a high-voltage ignition transformer?
A: It is a special electrical device that boosts low-voltage power to several thousand volts or even tens of thousands of volts. It breaks down air to generate an electric arc for fuel ignition. It is also commonly referred to as an igniter or high-voltage pack.
Q: Can a 3.7 V battery power this transformer?
A: Compatible models accept 3.7 V DC input. However a high-frequency oscillator or switching driving circuit is required. Do NOT connect the transformer directly to bare DC battery without proper drive circuitry.
Q: Is this a complete arc generator module?
A: No. It is a bare transformer component only. Your finished assembly still needs control circuit, oscillator, power source / battery and electrode hardware. But we have complete arc lighter. Please feel free contact with us.
